CBSE Board Exams 2024: Class 10 and 12 Exam Dates Released, Spanning from February 15 to April 10

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made an official announcement regarding the schedule for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2024. These exam dates are set to commence on February 15 and will span approximately 55 days, concluding on April 10, 2024.

In a notice issued by CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj, the importance of other examination bodies aligning their schedules with CBSE’s exam dates was emphasized.

As per the earlier declaration made on May 12, CBSE had already revealed that the board exams for the year 2024 would be conducted starting from February 15. This announcement was made while announcing the results for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2023.

The pass percentages for this year’s exams were reported as 93.12% for Class 10 students and 87.33% for Class 12 students. The number of registered students was 16,96,770 for Class 12 and 21,86,940 for Class 10 exams. It is noteworthy that CBSE had conducted the board exams from February 15 in the previous academic session of 2022-23, with Class 10 exams held from February 15 to April 5 and Class 12 exams from February 15 to March 21.
