To maximize performance on examination day, the Central Board of Secondary Education instructed that students arrive early at exam centers as required.

Students could face disqualification if there are any discrepancies during the CBSE Board Exam 2024. The CBSE 10th and 12th grade exams began on February 15, 2024 (CBSE Board Exam 2024 Date Sheet), with main subject exams starting two days later on February 19 (2024 Date Sheet). 10th-grade students began by sitting exams for Sanskrit Communicative and Sanskrit Core subjects, while 12th-grade students appeared for Hindi Elective and Core on their first day.

Early Arrival: Students should arrive at their exam centers 30 minutes early (i.e., by 10 AM) to meet all requirements and take their exams on schedule.
Admit Card Requirement for 2024 Exam: Students will only be permitted to sit their examination after first providing and checking their CBSE Admit Card 2024 for 2024 exams. Make sure your admit card arrives with you!
No Sharing of Materials: Once inside an examination hall, students cannot exchange or share materials amongst themselves; thus, it’s highly advised they bring all required stationery.
Prohibited Items: Students entering CBSE exam halls should avoid bringing any items that might lead to disqualification during screening checks, as any finding of illegal objects could cause immediate disqualification from taking part in exams.
Electronic Devices: When taking part in the CBSE examination hall, no electronic devices such as smartwatches, cell phones, Bluetooth devices, or similar devices are allowed – this includes smartphones.
