This news comes as a significant development for students preparing for the UP Board Compartment Exam 2023, which includes both high school and intermediate examinations. Earlier, the UP Board had announced that the improvement and compartment exams for high school and intermediate would be held on 15th July 2023. However, the UPMSP decided to postpone both exams by one week, taking into consideration the occurrence of Sawan Shivratri and the associated crowd of devotees carrying holy water (kaavad).
Several district education officials had requested the postponement of the exams due to these reasons. It is noteworthy that the timing of the high school compartment and improvement exams, from 8:00 AM to 11:15 AM, and the intermediate compartment exams, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, remains unchanged.
According to information shared by the UP Board Secretary, a total of 18,400 students have registered for the high school compartment and improvement exams this year. Similarly, 26,269 students have filled out forms for the intermediate compartment exams.
