NEST Result 2023: The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) exam was conducted on June 24, 2023. Since the after completion of the exam, candidates are eagerly awaiting for the release of their results. On the official website the information regarding the announcement of the results was given now. According to the information, the results will be declared on July 10, 2023, at 12 PM. Once the results are released, students can visit the official website to check their scores. To obtain the results, candidates will need to enter their login credentials.

Checking NEST 2023 Results:

To obtain the NEST 2023 results, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Entrance Screening Test,
Once the results are announced, the link will be activated on the homepage of the website, which needs to be clicked.
Next, candidates are required to enter the requested information (login credentials) and submit it.
The result will be displayed on the screen, from where candidates can download it and also take a printout.

NEST 2023 Result Releasing Date:

The NEST exam took place on June 24, 2023. It was conducted in online mode (CBT-based). Candidates can only check the NEST Result 2023 through the online mode on the official website.
The result will be declared on July 10, 2023. After a few days from the result declaration, universities will conduct their counseling procedures separately.
The NEST 2023 counseling will be organized separately by the two participating institutions. Only candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam will be eligible for the counseling rounds.

NEST 2023 Merit List:

On the same day as the result announcement, candidates will be able to check the NEST Merit List. The NEST examination consists of four sections, each containing 17 questions.
Section 1 (General Section) is compulsory to attempt, while candidates can attempt as many sections from the subject sections as they want.
The NEST Merit List 2023 will be prepared based on the score of the general section and the three highest scores from the remaining subject sections. In other words, the section in which candidates score the lowest marks will be excluded during the merit list calculation.

Downloading Revised Answer Key for NEST 2023:

It is important to note that candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections to the answer key provided by NEST from June 28 to June 30. After resolving the raised objections, the final answer key has been released. By downloading the answer key, candidates can match their question responses and estimate their results. It should be noted that no further objections will be accepted regarding the final answer key. The final answer key is definitive and universally applicable.

NEST 2023 Tie Break Rules:

In the event that two or more candidates have the same total score, the candidate with a higher score in the general section will be ranked higher.
If the tie persists, then the best scores in the subject sections of the two candidates will be compared. The candidate with the higher score in any of the subject sections will receive a better rank.
If the tie still persists, the candidates will be assigned the same provisional rank at the time of the NEST Result 2023 declaration. The tie will be broken by comparing the class 12th marks and date of birth in that order during the admission and counseling process.

NEST Counselling 2023:

The counseling process for NEST 2023 will be organized separately by NISER and UM-DAE CEBS for admission to the M.Sc. course. Only shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in the counseling procedure.
NEST 2023 Counselling will be conducted in offline mode at the university campuses. Candidates must be physically present on the designated day of counseling.
Candidates are required to bring their original documents along with two self-attested photocopies.
