Maharana Pratap Jayanti 2022: Born on May 9, 1540, Maharana Pratap is celebrated as the first freedom fighter of our country. He is remembered for the bravery of Akbar’s disobedience and his faithful horse Chetak. The Maharana fought valiantly against the Mughal Empire at a time when others accepted Akbar’s supremacy.
