Admission in government schools on first come first serve basis

New Delhi. In Sarvodaya Schools of Delhi Government, seats are still vacant in classes Nursery to V for the academic session 2022-23. The Directorate of Education has decided to fill these seats on a first come first serve basis. The directorate has asked the heads of Sarvodaya schools to make manual admissions on the vacant seats from May 11.

According to the instructions issued by the Directorate of Education, the rules issued earlier will have to be followed for admission. Along with this, the vacant seats of other classes will also be filled in the same way. The process for this will start on May 20. Children living within a distance of one kilometer from the school will get priority in admission. If the distance is not one kilometer, only those three-kilometer will get a chance to get admission. If Sarvodaya School is not there even within a radius of three kilometers, then students can apply to any school near them.
