The registration process for CLAT 2024 has officially begun today, July 1, 2023. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU’s) is organizing the CLAT 2024 Exam, which is scheduled to take place on December 3, 2023. Individuals who are interested in applying for this national-level entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate law programs can submit their applications until November 3, 2023, on the official website of the Consortium of NLUs (consortiumofnlus.ac.in).

Candidates must visit the official website and navigate to the CLAT 2024 section on the homepage.

By clicking on “Login,” a new page will appear where they can create an account by providing the required details.

Afterward, they need to fill in all the necessary information, pay the application fee, and upload the requested documents, which include a recent passport-sized photograph with a plain background, the candidate’s signature, and specific certificates for candidates applying under the SC/ST/OBC or PwD/BPL categories.

It is important to note that applications must be submitted online only through the official website before 11:59 PM on November 3, 2023.

The application fee, which is to be paid online, is Rs. 4000 for candidates belonging to the General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCi category, and Rs. 3,500 for candidates from the SC/ST/BPL category.

The CLAT 2024 exam will be conducted offline on December 3, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM. As for the question paper, there will be some changes compared to previous years. The CLAT 2024 UG paper will consist of 120 questions instead of 150. The paper will be divided into five sections: English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. However, there will be no changes in the syllabus or the number of questions for the CLAT 2024 PG paper.

Once the registration process is complete, candidates are advised to carefully review all the provided details before submitting their application. They should also download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.
