CBSE Announces Supplementary Exams for Classes 10 & 12 in July 2024!

The wait is over for students awaiting news on the CBSE supplementary exams! The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official date sheet, giving students ample time to prepare for a second attempt to improve their scores.
CBSE Supplementary Exam 2024 Highlights
Key Highlights:
- Exam Dates: The supplementary exams for both Class 10 and 12 will commence on July 15, 2024.
- Class 10 Schedule: The Class 10 exams will be spread across multiple days, concluding on July 22, 2024. Subjects like Social Science, Hindi, Science, Mathematics, English, and Languages will be tested.
- Class 12 Schedule: Unlike Class 10, the Class 12 exams will be held on a single day – July 15, 2024. Exams will be conducted in a single shift between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. However, papers for subjects like Painting or Sculpture will have a shorter duration of 2 hours.
- Downloading the Date Sheet: Students can download the official date sheet in PDF format from the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in).
- Eligibility: Only regular Class 10 and 12 students whose names are submitted online by their schools are eligible to appear for the supplementary exams.

- This is a great opportunity for students who failed one or more subjects in the regular exams to improve their grades.
- Students who wish to raise their scores for better college applications can also take advantage of the supplementary exams.
- Those who failed previously can attempt the exams again as private candidates.

The results for the CBSE supplementary exams for Classes 10 and 12 are expected to be declared in the last week of July 2024. Students can check their results on the CBSE website using their roll number and other credentials.
