AICTE Extends Admission Deadline for Engineering Courses in 2023-24 Academic Year
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has recently issued a revised academic calendar for the academic year 2023-24, which brings good news for aspiring engineers across the country. The AICTE has extended the last date for admissions into engineering degree and diploma courses at technical colleges. Previously, the deadline for admission was September 15th, but now, students can apply for admission in these institutions until October 30th.

AICTE Academic Calendar 2023-24
This decision comes as a relief for students who were struggling to meet the previous deadline. The revised academic calendar, released on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, has provided students with an additional two weeks to complete their admission process.
Moreover, lateral entry admissions into these courses have also been extended until October 30th. This move is expected to benefit students who are seeking direct admission into the second year of their engineering programs.
AICTE Academic Calendar 2023-24 Details
AICTE has made further adjustments in its revised academic calendar for 2023-24. The deadline for obtaining approval from the relevant university or board for running technical courses at these institutions has also been extended to October 30th.
